The story that inspired the Happiness Tracker
Once upon a time there was a farmer who put a hand full of beans into his
left trouser pocket.
Whenever he experienced something nice during the day
or when something made him happy
he took a bean from the left trouser pocket and put it into the right pocket.
In the beginning this did not happen too often. But from day to day more beans went from his left pocket to the right one. The smell of the fresh morning breeze, the birds' songs, the laughter of his children, the nice chat with a neighbor - all these things made him move a bean from the left pocket to the right one.
Before going to bed in the evening he counted the beans in his right pocket. And with every bean he could remember a positive experience.
He fell asleep happily - even if he only had a single bean in his right pocket.
